Ingredients

 

  • 2 cups wet coconut flakes
  • 2 boiled grated potatoes (350 grams)
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 1 tsp Cardamom powder
  • Milk powder (20 grams)
  • Dry fruits thinly sliced

Directions

 

  • Add the grated coconut and run once in the mixer grinder to get a rough paste of coconut. In a non-stick saucepan add ghee, coconut and grated potatoes. Mix well and keep the flame slow.
  • Add sugar and mix well. The barfi mixture tends to get in a watery consistency after adding sugar. Cook till the water evaporates and the mixture becomes thick.
  • Add cardamom powder and milk powder and mix well. Place Oddy Ecobake baking and cooking paper and spread the barfi mixture on top of it. Oddy Ecobake is non-sticky and grease-proof, hence perfect for making barfi. Oddy Ecobake is healthy and eco-friendly.
