Easy Three Ingredient Suji Snacks

Every evening we do crave some spicy snacks. However, making snacks can be a time taking process. What if we can make some snacks just within minutes using only three ingredients. Suji snacks are the easiest recipes to make that do not take time and are good to taste as well.

Ingredients

 

  • Suji - 1/2 Cup
  • Wheat Flour - 1 Cup
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tbsp
  • Kashmiri Laal mirch - 1/4 tbsp
  • Onion - 1 full
  • Ginger - 1/4 tsp
  • Green chillies - As per tatse
  • Few coriander strands
  • Ghe - 2 tbsp
  • Jeera - 1/4 tsp
  • Curd mixed with water - 3, 4/tbsp
  • Oddy Ecobake - 1 sheet
  • Tomatoes - 2 pieces
  • Chaat Masala - sprinkle (optional)

Directions

 

  • First, add half a cup of suji along with wheat flour in a bowl. Now add 1/4 tbsp turmeric and 1/4 tbsp Kashmiri laal mirch.
  • Now, add finely chopped onions to the mix and also add chopped ginger. In the paste add some chopped coriander leaves and green chilies as per your taste.
  • Add two tbsp of Ghee to the mix in order to get the mixture a little crispy. Add 1/5 of Jeera and mix it well.
  • Add the curd mixed with water to make it a soft dough. Leave the dough for half hour to ferment properly.
  • On the other side, to make the tomato chutney, you would need 3,4 green chilies, 1 portion of ginger 3, 4 garlic pieces, and two half-cut tomatoes and mix them in a mixer jar.
  • Now transfer the paste to a bowl. In a pan add 1 to 2 tsp of oil and heat it well.
  • Once heated, add jeera and fry till golden brown. Now, add the tomato paste in the pan and add salt as per your taste and 1/4 tsp of Kashmiri laal mirch.
  • Now stir the paste well till it is properly cooked.
  • Coming back to the dough, the dough has been fermented properly. Now make medium size round balls out of the dough.
  • Now, use Oddy Ecobake sheets as it is non-greasy to use. Spread balls of dough and make it round with the help of your fingers. Repeat the procedure with all the dough balls.
  • Now spread the round dough on a pan and let it cook on simmer flame for 1 - 2 minutes. Flip the other side to cook.
  • Now to make the Suji snacks crispy add oil to the top of it
  • Once the snacks are golden brown, you can put them off the flame and serve them hot with chutney.
