Eggless Tutti-Frutti Biscuits

About the Recipe

Try this eggless version of tutti-frutti biscuits at home. These biscuits will turn out to be super tasty and crispy. Ecobake helps in easily removing the biscuits from the baking plate without getting stuck to it.

Ingredients

 

  • Maida or all purpose flour- 1 cup
  • Salted butter- 100g
  • Powdered sugar- 1/2 cup
  • Custard powder- 4 tbsp
  • Baking powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Baking soda- 2 pinch
  • Tutti Frutti- 4 tbsp

Directions

 

  • Mix soft butter in a mixing bowl until it becomes soft and fluffy. Add the dry ingredients to the butter and sugar mixture and mix gently to form a dough.
  • Add tutti frutti to the dough and mix well. Roll the dough into a rectangular shape using cling wrap and store it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  • After half an hour, cut the dough into pieces. Transfer these pieces on to a baking tray and bake them for 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 deg C.
  • You can also bake them for 20 to 25 minutes in a preheated kadai on the stove. Once the biscuits are baked, transfer them to a wire rack to cool.
