Eggless Vanilla Tea Cake

Eggless Vanilla Tea Cake is an easy-to-make recipe that you can prepare for your family and friends. Ecobake helps in getting perfect cakes without any greasing and no need of cleaning afterwards.

Ingredients

 

  • Maida - 1 cup (250 ml)
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp
  • Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - 1/8 tsp
  • Curd - 1/2 cup
  • Cooking oil - 1/4 cup
  • Vanilla essence - 1/2 & 1/4 tsp
  • Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Milk - 1/4 cup (use only if needed)

Directions

 

  • Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Dry ingredients will be ready.
  • Take curd, cooking oil and vanilla essence in another bowl. Mix it well using hand whisk. Keep mixing until foam type consistency is formed.
  • Sift powdered sugar into it. And mix nicely until sugar is dissolved. Add a little bit of milk to it. And again mix this mixture properly. The wet mixture will be ready.
  • Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture gradually. And mix the batter using hand whisk. Use extra milk if needed.
  • Place Oddy Brown Ecobake into 5 inch round tin. No need to grease. Pour the batter in it. And tap the tin properly.
  • Bake the cake for 40-45 min at low flame if using gas. Or for 30-35 min at 180 degree if using oven. Make sure to preheat it before baking.
  • Demould when cake cools down at room temperature.
