Fancy Heart Cake

About the Recipe

Do not worry if you do not have a heart-shaped baking pan at home; this recipe shows how to make a heart-shaped cake with an 8-inch circular baking pan. The cake is baked perfectly spongy by lining the baking pan with Oddy Ecobake, which is easy to tear and can be reusable.

Ingredients

 

  • Cake premix- 300 g & Water
  • Oil-3 tbsp & Cold double cream
  • Pineapple crush & Orange gel food colour
  • Piping bag & Half- star nozzle
  • Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Line an 8-inch baking pan with Oddy Ecobake. Mix cake batter using premix and water to form a thin batter. Then add oil to it and mix.
  • Beat double cream until stiff peaks form to make whipping cream. Divide the cake into three layers. Spread whipping cream, place a layer of cake, Soak with sugar syrup, and then spread whipping cream and pineapple crush on it. Repeat the process for other layers.
  • Frost the cake with whipping cream and smooth using a spatula. Divide the cake into four parts and cut as shown. Now place the cut portion on top as shown.
  • Transfer the cake onto a larger cake board, and then cut a bit of cake to get the perfect heart shape. Then cream coat the cake and smooth it using a card and spatula.
  • Decorate the bottom using a half-star nozzle and orange cream. Decorate the top and sides as shown with cream filled in a piping bag.
