When it comes to Gujarati delicacies, dhoklas, a soft and spongy treat, are a big favorite. It is the ideal snack or addition to your meal. Dhokla is steamed using Oddy Ecobake without any oil or butter is needed to grease the mold.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup split chick peas & 1/4 cup split green gram
- 1/4 cup rice, 1/4 cup poha & 1/4 cup semolina
- 1/2 cup curd, 1 cup water & 1 chopped carrot
- 1/4 cup peas, 6 to 7 beans & 1/4 cup cabbage
- 1 capsicum, salt, 1/4 tso turmeric & 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp ginger chilli paste, 1.5 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp eno, red chilli powder & Oddy Ecobake
- 1 tsp oil, mustard seeds & White sesame seeds
- Chopped coriander leaves & curry leaves
Directions
- Grind chickpeas, split moong dal, poha, rice, and semolina together in a mixer jar to make a fine powder. Our dhokla premix is ready now. Chop all the vegetables.
- Prepare the batter by mixing the dhokla mix, chopped vegetables, lemon juice, and salt with water. Let it rest for 30 minutes. Add eno to the dhokla batter and mix well.
- Sprinkle some red chilli powder on the batter. Transfer the batter to a plate lined with Oddy Ecobake. Steam the dhokla on the plate for 20 minutes in a kadai, as shown.
- Once the dhokla is cooked completely, add the tempering. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and cut the dhokla into small pieces. Delicious, healthy, and spongy dhokla is ready.
