No Fry Poori

You will not believe that pooris can be made without frying oil. Yes, you can! Try this no-fry poori for dinner. These are made in an air fryer or also on the stove using Oddy Ecobake Non-Stick Liners that are reusable and safe to use, which removes the need for greasing the air fryer basket, yet the pooris puff as if they were fried in oil.

Ingredients

 

  • Wheat flour-2 cups & Sugar-1/2 tsp
  • Salt-1/2 tsp & Oil-1 tbsp &
  • Water
  • Oddy Ecobake Non-Stick Liners

Directions

 

  • Make poori dough by mixing wheat flour, salt, sugar, and oil in a bowl with water and adding more gradually till it is soft.
  • Grease it with oil, cover, and let it rest for some time.
  • Dust flour on the rolling board and roll the dough flat. Cut it into circles.
  • Spread them on a plate, cover, and steam on both sides for 3–4 minutes on each side, then keep them aside.
  • Line an air fryer basket with Oddy Ecobake Non-Stick Liners. Spread steamed poori dough in it and air fry for 10 minutes on each side at 200 degrees Celsius.
  • You can also make poori by lining a baking pan with Oddy Ecobake Non-Stick Liners, covering it, and cooking it in the vessel for some time. Serve it with your favorite side dish.
