No Knead Bread

About the Recipe

The “no-knead bread” is a recipe that does not require any special ingredients or techniques. It simply needs only four ingredients and takes very little effort, but it needs at least 15 hours to let the dough ferment to get a perfect loaf. Oddy Ecobake makes your effort of baking the bread simpler without much greasing and also makes it easy to transfer the dough from the mixing bowl to the baking pan.

Ingredients

 

  • All purpose flour-3.5 cups
  • Salt
  • Yeast-1/4 tsp
  • Water-1 ¾ cup
  • Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, salt, yeast, and water and whisk well. Add more water if needed. Mix well.
  • Pack it in a container with a lid and let it ferment for 15 hours in a warm place. Knead it after 15 hours with wet palms to make it soft. Cover and keep aside. Repeat the process twice again, once in half an hour.
  • Line a baking pan with Oddy Ecobake and dust it with flour. Dust the dough with flour, transfer it to the baking pan, and let it rest.
  • Preheat an oven for 15 minutes with a ceramic or cast iron casserole in it. Make scoring by making cuts in the prepared dough to let the steam escape while baking.
  • Place the prepared dough in the hot casserole and close it. Cover and bake the bread for 30–40 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius.
  • Then bake for 20 minutes, removing the lid. Remove from oven and let it cool. The crispy outside and porous inside of the bread are ready.
