Simple Fruit Cake for Christmas.

This eggless fruit cake is a handy option for beginners for this Christmas. This fruit cake can be baked without an oven. With Oddy Ecobake, you may quickly demold the cake once it has been baked in the desired shape.

Ingredients

 

  • All purpose flour or maida- 1 and 1/4 cup x
  • Melted butter- 1/4cup & Orange juice- 3/4 cup+ 2 tbsp
  • Powdered sugar- 1/2 cup & Milk Powder- 1/4cup
  • Baking powder- 1 tsp & Baking soda- 1/2 tsp
  • Vanilla essence- 1/2 tsp & Tutti frutti- 4 tbsp
  • Chopped almonds- 2 tbsp & Chopped cashew- 2 tbsp
  • Dark Raisins- 2 tbsp, Raisins- 2 tbsp & Oddy Ecobake
  • Chopped dryfruits, tutti frutti, raisins and cherries

Directions

 

  • Soak the dried fruits and nuts in half a cup of orange juice for 10 minutes. Add vanilla essence to the orange juice along with the dry fruits.
  • Beat butter and sugar together to form a creamy texture. Add the dry ingredients through a sieve to the bowl and mix well.
  • Also, add the soaked dry fruits along with the orange juice, and give everything a good mix. Add orange juice to prepare the batter.
  • Transfer the batter to a cake mould lined with Oddy Ecobake. Bake the fruit cake for 30 to 35 minutes in a preheated kadai on a low-medium flame.
  • Once the cake is baked and cooled, demold it. Remove the Oddy Ecobake from the cake and cut the fruit cake into slices to serve.
