Simple Homemade Chocolate Nuts Donut Recipe

There are numerous varieties of doughnuts. They are the ideal method to reward oneself for indulging in baking. Doughnuts from the store are nice, but homemade ones are great. Ecobake helps in getting the perfect shape for your donuts without getting stuck to the tray.

Ingredients

 

  • Maida – 1 Cup
  • Dry Yeast – 1 tbsp
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp
  • A pinch of salt
  • Milk or Dark chocolate
  • Oil - 2 to 3 tbsp + For Frying
  • Chopped nuts

Directions

 

  • Activate yeast by mixing it in hot water with sugar and letting it rest for 5 to 10 minutes. Take maida in a bowl, add a pinch of salt, oil and activated yeast to form a sticky dough. Rest the dough for 30 minutes to 1 hour and let it double in size.
  • After some time, punch the dough, take a portion of the dough, roll it out and cut out the shapes. Let them rest for 30 minutes in a baking tray lined with Ecobake cooking paper.
  • Fry the doughnuts in hot oil. Prepare chocolate ganache using the double boiler method. Dip the donuts in the chocolate ganache and then in chopped nuts. Crispy chocolate nut donuts are ready.
