Ginger powder, or sonth, is used in a number of sweets and savouries. It not only enhances the flavour but also makes them more nutritious. Sonth is also made into paks in Indian households and are consumed during winters. Try this delicious sonth pak that contains all the ingredients that will keep your body warm in this cold winter season. Oddy Ecobake helps in setting the Pak since it is non-greasy and eco-friendly.

Ingredients
- Oddy Ecobake
- Powdered fenugreek seeds ½ cup
- Milk 1 cup
- Acacia gum ½ cup
- Ghee 300 gms
- Almonds ½ cup
- Cashew nuts ½ cup
- Raisins ½ cup
- Fox nut 1 ½ cup
- Pumpkin seeds 1/4th cup
- Sesame seeds 2 tbsp
- 1 cup desiccated coconut
- Dry ginger powder 3 tbsp
- Peeprimul powder 3 tbsp
- 1 cup wheat flour
- Cardamom powder 1 tbsp
- Nutmeg powder ½ tsp
- Jaggery 2 ½ cup
Directions
- In a bowl dd powdered fenugreek seed and milk. Mix well and keep it aside, let it soak nicely. In a kadai add ghee and roast all the nuts one by one (almonds, cashew, raisins, fox nuts). Add powdered acacia gum and roast in ghee for 5 mins. Remove in a bowl.
- Add pumpkin seeds and once it starts to splutter add sesame seeds and roast. Add desiccated coconut and mix well. Roast for some time and remove from flame. In a big dish add desiccated coconut mixture, roasted acacia gum powder and raisings. Coarse grind almonds, cashew and fox nuts and add it in our pak mixture.
- In a dish take dry ginger powder and peeprimul powder and mix well. Add in our pak mixture. Check our meethi and milk. All them ilk might have absorbed. Now add ghee in a kadai and roast the methi for 5-7 mins and add to our pak mixture.
- In the same kadai add ghee, add wheat flour and roast nicely, add to our mixture. Add ghee in a kadai and melt the jaggery, add to our pak mixture. Mix our pak mixture with spatual while iti s still hot.
- In a baking tin place Oddy Ecobake. Oddy Ecobake is non-sticky and grease-proof, perfect for cooking and baking process. Transfer our pak mixture in the tin and level it nicely. Sprinkle almond and pistachio sliced.
- Press it firmly and set it in room temperature for 2 hours. Cut in shapes and store in refrigerator for 2-3 months. Enjoy our delicious and healthy Sonth pak.
