Ingredients

  • 3 cups All Purpose Flour, ¼ cup sugar, 1 tsp Salt & 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp dry Yeast + 1/2 tsp sugar & 1 + 4 tbsp cup Milk
  • 1 cup Orange Juice, 1/2 tsp Orange zest, 3 tbsp Sugar & 1 tbsp Butter
  • 2 to 3 tbsp Butter & 4 tbsp Sugar

Directions

  • In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast, and set aside for 5 minutes to activate the yeast. Combine the flour, sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl. Add the milk and yeast mixture, and knead to form a soft dough.
  • Add oil or melted butter to the dough and knead it for two minutes. It should be covered and given an hour to rise in a warm area. In a sauce pan, combine orange juice, orange zest, sugar, and butter. Everything should come to a boil.
  • Cook the sauce until it thickens, about 5 minutes. Set it aside so that it cools down. Transfer the dough to a surface that has been thoroughly floured after it has risen. Dough is used to coat the work surface. Once the dough has been kneaded, begin rolling.
  • Create a rectangle out of it. Sprinkle sugar over the dough after equally distributing the butter. Make a tight log out of it now. Make little rolls out of it with a thread. Make sure the rolls are the same size. Grab your baking tray now and line it with Ecobake parchment paper.
  • Pour the orange sauce over the pan at this time. Keep the rolls in the pan. For an additional 30 minutes, cover them and allow them to rise. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees C during the final 10 minutes of rising.
  • The pan should now be placed in the oven, where it should bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Take them out and allow them to cool for five minutes. Unmold, the rolls will now be covered in the gooey orange sauce. The rolls should be split apart and served warm.
