Try This Simple & Delicious Makhmali Kadai Paneer

Makhmalai kadai paneer is a flavorful recipe made from paneer, onion, tomatoes and capsicum. Ecobake helps to fry your paneer in an air fryer or pan without greasing it with oil and no need for cleaning afterwards.

Ingredients

 

  • Paneer – 300 gms
  • Onion – 3 & Tomatoes – 4 (medium)
  • Capsicum – 2 & Green chillies – 2
  • Coriander leaves & Salt
  • Red chilli powder – ½ tsp & Garam masala – 1 tbsp
  • Cinnamon, Cumin seeds, Elaichi & Bay leaf
  • Kasuri methi, ginger and garlic cloves

Directions

 

  • Marinate paneer with onion, capsicum, salt, and red chilli powder for 10 minutes. Transfer this paneer mixture to an air fryer lined with an Oddy Ecobake cooking paper tray and cook it for 15 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, heat 1 tbsp of mustard oil in a wok and add cinnamon sticks, Elaichi, cumin seeds, bay leaves, ginger and garlic cloves. Saute for a few minutes and add tomatoes and onions and let it cook well.
  • After the tomatoes and onions turn mushy, grind them together and make a paste. Heat oil in the same pan and add the paste and sauté it well. Add 1 tbsp of garam masala, green chillies, salt, kasuri methi and cook well.
  • Now add the paneer fried in the air fryer to the pan. Mix well and cook for a while. Add whey to adjust the consistency of the gravy and garnish with coriander leaves. Makhmali kadai paneer is ready.
