About the Recipe

Visarati Vangi Panola is very easy to make and can be made with ingredients readily available at home. Do try this healthy recipe which can be made after steaming. Here, Kalpana Naik has used Oddy Ecobake perforated liners for making Panolas.

Ingredients

 

  • 1.5 cucumber - Grated
  • 1.5 cup rice flour & 1/4 cup rawa
  • 3 tbsp gram flour & 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp green chilli paste
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp dhaniya powder
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp crushed peanut
  • Salt as per taste & 1/2 cup curd
  • 1 small grated carrot
  • Half cup fresh garlic and half cup coriander
  • 1 cup water or as required

Directions

 

  • In a mixing bowl, take rice flour, rawa, curd and then one by one, add all the spices.
  • Then add the grated vegetables into it and mix all of this well.
  • Take one sheet of Oddy Ecobake Perforated liner and spread the panola mixture on top of it. There is no need to grease.
  • Keep another sheet of liner on top of the mixture. Now keep this panola in a steamer and cook it for 10-12 minutes on medium heat.
  • Your panola is ready. Now sprinkle some cooking oil on top of it along with some red chilly powder, chopped onion and fresh coriander leaves.
