Bakery Style Chocolate Cake for This Christmas

About the Recipe

Today we are going to make a bakery-style cake with special decorations for Christmas. We are going to make the cake sponge in a pan without an oven or kadai. Oddy Ecobake helps you bake the cake in a pan without greasing it with mold. Hence, there is no need for additional cleanup.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup maida & 1/2 cup milk powder
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar & 1/4 cup choco powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder & 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup oil & 1 tsp chocolate essence
  • 1 cup milk, Whipped cream & Grated dark chocolate
  • Readymade fondant & Blue food gel
  • Edible pearls and Oddy Ecobake

Directions

  • Take ready-made fondant and flatten it using a rolling pin. Cut the fondant into different shapes like Christmas trees, stars, etc. Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl and add the wet ingredients one by one. Mix them well to prepare the cake batter.
  • Transfer 1/3 of the batter to a pan lined with Oddy Ecobake. Bake the cake for 10 minutes and demold it once the cake is completely baked. Similarly, prepare two more cake sponges with the remaining cake batter.
  • Place the first cake sponge, apply whipped cream to it, and spread well. Sprinkle some grated dark chocolate over it and cover it again with whipped cream. Place the next cake sponge and repeat the same process.
  • Once all three cake sponges are decorated in this manner, apply the whipped cream completely and level it with a spatula. Decorate the sides of the cake with fondant shapes and chopped dark chocolate.
  • Cover the remaining portion of the cake sides with blue stars using a small star-shaped nozzle. Decorate the top portion of the cake with fondant and grated chocolate as shown. Your bakery-style cake is ready!
