Homemade Chicken Tikka Pizza

About the Recipe

Make this chicken tikka pizza with mild Indian masalas and Italian herbs, topped with cheese. It is made at home by marinating boneless chicken pieces in a masala made from curd and spice powders, then frying and cooking them in a pan. The pizza pan is lined with Oddy Ecobake to make a non-sticky and crispy pizza. Oddy Ecobake is reusable multiple times if you want to do it in batches.

Ingredients

  • Chopped Onion & Capsicum - 1/4 Cup & Chopped Garlic - 1 Tbsp
  • Curd - 3 Tbsp & Boneless Chicken - 250 gm
  • Salt - 1 Tsp & Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Tsp
  • Chilli Powder - 1 Tsp & Garam Masala - 1 Tsp
  • Mustard Oil - 1 Tbsp & Lukewarm Water - 1/2 Cup (120 ml)
  • Sugar - 1 Tbsp & Active Dry Yeast - 1 Tsp
  • All Purpose Flour - 1.5 Cup & Milk Powder - 2 Tbsp
  • Salt - 1 Tsp & Oil - 2 Tsp & Grated Mozzarella Cheese
  • Capsicum & Pizza sauce
  • Oddy Ecobake

Directions

  • Mix chopped onion and capsicum, chopped garlic, curd, boneless chicken, salt, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala, and mustard oil in a bowl and marinate for 15 minutes.
  • Cook it on a high flame for 2 minutes and then on a low flame for 10 minutes. The chicken tikka is ready.
  • Take lukewarm water, salt, and active dry yeast in a bowl and mix. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes. Then add the dry ingredients to it and knead to make a soft dough.
  • Grease it with oil and knead it for 10 minutes. Grease it with oil and let it rest. Cover it with cling wrap and wait for 1.5 hours.
  • Line a pizza pan with Oddy Ecobake. Punch the dough to remove air bubbles. Divide the dough into two parts. Roll one portion of dough evenly on a rolling board.
  • Transfer it to the pizza pan and poke holes all over it using a fork. Then apply pizza sauce and grate mozzarella cheese all over it.
  • Then arrange the chicken tikka pieces and chopped capsicum on top, and fold the dough on the sides.
  • Preheat a kadhai for 10 minutes on a low flame. Cover and bake the pizza for 20 minutes on a low flame. Cut into slices and enjoy.
