Special Eggless Chocolate Cake Decoration

About the Recipe

Make this yummy chocolate cake for your next special occasion. This simple cake is made with flour, sugar, and without eggs. The chocolate ganache is made from melted dark chocolate and poured over the cake to make it rich and delicious. The cake is baked perfectly by lining the baking pan with Oddy Ecobake, which is very convenient to use and reduces your time and effort after baking.

Ingredients

 

  • Vegetable Oil - 1/4 cup (60 ml) & Curd - 1/4 cup (50 gm)
  • Sugar - 1/2 cup (70 gm) & Milk - 1/2 cup (120 ml)
  • Vanilla Essence- 1 Tsp & Whole Wheat Flour- 1 Cup (130 gm)
  • Dark Cocoa Powder - 3 Tbsp (20 gm) & Baking Powder- 1 Tsp
  • Baking Soda - 1/2 Tsp & Pinch of Salt
  • Chilled Whipping Cream - 200 gm & Silver sugar sprinkles
  • Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Take the oil, curd, and sugar in a bowl and whisk well. Add chocolate syrup, milk, and vanilla essence to it and whisk till smooth.
  • Then add the sifted dry ingredients to it and mix using the cut-and-fold method until you get a ribbon consistency.
  • Line a baking pan with Oddy Ecobake. Transfer the batter into it and tap it well. Cover and preheat a kadhai for 10 minutes. Bake the cake for 45 minutes on a low flame. Let it cool completely.
  • Melt fresh cream and dark chocolate in a bowl using the double boiler method to make chocolate ganache. Beat whipping cream in a bowl until stiff peaks form.
  • Add ganache to it and beat again till fluffy. Fill this cream into a piping bag. Unmold the cake and divide it into three layers.
  • Place a layer of cake on the cake board, soak with sugar syrup, and apply cream, spread, and garnish with chopped dry nuts. Repeat the process for other layers, too.
  • Frost the cake with cream and spread it evenly using a spatula. Pour ganache all over the cake. Decorate with chocolate cream on the top and sides and silver sugar sprinkles.
