Cake Decoration From Scratch Without Any Cake Tools

About the Recipe

Steal this idea of preparing and decorating the cake from scratch without using any cake tools like measuring cups, electric beaters, cake boards, or turn tables. In fact, we do not need any piping bags or nozzles to decorate this cake. Ecobake helps in getting the perfect shape for your cake and there is no need for additional cleanup.

Ingredients

 

  • Hot Water - 3 tbsp + Coffee powder - 2 tbsp
  • Water - 1/3 cup + 2 to 3 tbsp sugar + Coffee powder - 1 tsp
  • ¼ CUP OIL & 1 TSP VANILLA ESSENCE
  • 1+1/4 CUP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR + Warm water - 2 tbsp
  • 1 CUP SUGAR & 1/3 CUP CURD
  • 1 TSP BAKING POWDER & 1/2 TSP BAKING SODA
  • 1 CUP CREAM + 100 GM CHOCOLATE+ 1/4 HOT MILK FOR GANACHE
  • FEW DROPS PINK & GREEN GEL FOOD COLOR & SILVER SUGAR BALLS

Directions

 

  • Prepare a coffee concoction with coffee powder and hot water. Prepare the cake batter by mixing the wet ingredients and sieving through the dry ingredients and combining everything together.
  • Transfer the cake batter into a cake mould and bake it for 45 to 50 minutes. Lining your mould with an Ecobake cooking paper circle will help you to easily demould the cake.
  • Once the cake is baked and cooled, divide it into three equal parts. Frost the cake completely using coffee sugar syrup, chocolate ganache, and whipped cream.
  • Then make a crescent shape on the cake and apply chocolate cream in the crescent as shown. Make a piping bag using a plastic cover and nozzle with a paper cup as demonstrated.
  • Make flower designs using pink cream and leaf designs using green cream. Garnish the cake with silver sugar balls and sprinkles.
