Cake Gift Hampers for Festive Season

Why go to shops, surprise your loved ones with home made freshly baked gift hampers, which are healthier than sweets from shops. This Rakshabandhan makes a gift hamper consisting of cakes of different flavors and tastes, which expresses your love the best way possible.

Ingredients

 

  • 2 Cake tins of 4 inches
  • ⅓ cup Vanilla Premix
  • ⅓ cup Chocolate premix.
  • 2 tablespoon Blueberry Crush
  • White Ganache
  • Whipped Cream
  • Tutti Frutti
  • White Chocochips
  • 50gm of White Chocolate
  • 50gms of Fresh Cream
  • 1 tsp Neutral gel/glaze
  • Purple Food Color
  • Silver Dust
  • Dark Chocolate Truffle
  • Chocolate Ganache
  • Choco Chips
  • 50gm Milk Chocolate
  • 50gm fresh cream
  • Chocolate bar
  • Whipped Cream
  • Hazelnut Spread
  • Hazelnuts

Directions

To make 4 sponge cakes

  • Take ½ cup vanilla Premix in a bowl and ⅓ cup chocolate premix in another bowl and add ¼ cup of water to each of them, and mix them well. Use similar measurement for the other 2 sponges also.
  • Transfer the batter into a 4 inch cake tin which is lined with Oddy Ecobake Baking and Cooking Paper. If you are using kadhai for baking then, bake the cakes on high flame for 5 mins and on low flames for 15 mins.

Decorating Chocolate Blueberry Cake

  • In a mixing bowl take 2 tablespoons of Blueberry crush with some white ganache and whipped cream and mix them well. It’ll be used for frosting.
  • Take the sponge and divide it into 3 layers. Now stack the layers on one another while spreading the filling in between them along with some white choco chips and tutti frutti. After crumb coating let it freeze for 10 mins.
  • To make white chocolate ganache for finishing, take 50 gms of melted white chocolate and 50 gms of fresh cream, and mix them well, add 1 tsp of neutral gel, 2 tsp of water and 2 drops of purple gel color, give it a mix.To remove the chocolate particles staring the mixture.
  • Place the cake as shown in the video,to get rid of the excess glaze, and pour the glaze on it. Put the cake in the freezer for a few mins and let the glaze set properly on cake. Apply some silver dust.
  • Transfer the cake on Oddy Ecobake and move forward with the decoration as shown in the video.

Decorating Chocolate Truffle Overloaded Cake

  • Take the baked sponge and divide it into 3 layers, soak the sponge and apply a layer of ganache on the first layer using a piping bag and smoothen it using a damp spatula. Add choc chips and add a second layer on it. Repeating the process, add a third layer and put the cake in the freezer to let it set.
  • In a bowl take 50 gms of melted milk chocolate and 50 gms of fresh cream and mix it well to make chocolate glaze. Now pour the glaze on the cake like shown in the video. Decorate the cake using any chocolate pieces, like shown in the video and garnish it with some milk chocolate.

Decorating Chocolate Hazelnut cake Cake

  • To make Chocolate Hazelnut Mousse cream, take some whipped cream in a mixing bowl and add 1 tbsp Hazelnut paste in it and mix it well.
  • Divide the sponge cake into 3 layers and spread some cream on the first layer, some hazelnut spread, sprinkle some choco chips on it, then add the second layer and repeat the process and add the 3rd layer.
  • Crumb coat the cake and place it in the freezer for sometime. Decorate it as shown in the video using hazelnut spread and half cut hazelnuts.
