Ingredients

  • 1 cup maida, ajwain & salt for taste
  • Oil as required & water
  • Chopped ginger & garlic
  • Chopped green chillies & onion
  • Green peas & Oddy Uniwraps
  • Turmeric powder- pinch & Coriander powder
  • Salt for taste & Saunf powder
  • Maggi Masala & Red chilli powder
  • Crushed Kasuri methi & mashed potatoes (medium sized-3)
  • 1/2 cup maida & Water to make maida slurry

Directions

  • In a bowl, take maida, add salt, and oil. Mix all of this well and knead the dough as shown in the video after adding water gradually.
  • Let the dough rest for 15 minutes. In the meantime, we will prepare the filling. Take a kadhai, add some oil, and then put in the chopped ginger as well as the garlic.
  • Then add in the green chillies. Fry all of this well. Now you can put in the chopped onion and fry it until it becomes transparent.
  • Add the green peas now and keep stirring continuously. Now it is time to add all the spices. Mix all of this well and cook it for some time.
  • Then add in the mashed potatoes. Mix everything well with the help of a spatula. Once done, turn off the stove and keep the filling aside.
  • In a small bowl, take maida and add water so that it becomes watery, as shown in the video. Now keep it aside. With the help of a cutter, cut 5 to 6 pieces of dough as shown.
  • Then roll each dough ball with the help of a rolling pin and divide it into two pieces. In a non-stick pan, cook these dough pieces for 15-20 seconds on each side.
  • There's no need to use oil here. Now prepare cone samosas by applying maida paste on one side as shown and folding them.
  • Fill half of the cone with the stuffing, then add cheese to it, and again fill it with stuffing. Dip the samosa in the prepared maida slurry and fry it in hot oil.
  • Similarly, prepare all cone samosas and deep fry them. Pack them or wrap them using Oddy Uniwraps. Serve them hot with tomato ketchup or any dip.
