Choco Mint Pastry

About the Recipe

This pastry is a masterpiece with rich chocolate and mild mint flavour. Chocolate ganache adds to the rich taste and texture of the pastry. Perfectly mixed mint whipping cream and a soft sponge as bake, this pastry is truly to die for. Oddy Ecobake is grease-proof and hence you can skip greasing it before baking. Also, the baked cake comes out effort-less with Oddy Ecobake.

Ingredients

 

  • 150 gms chocolate premix
  • ½ cup water
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Square tin
  • Oddy Ecobake
  • Whipping cream
  • Mint essence
  • Green color 2-3 drops
  • Chocolate ganache
  • Noor 11 nozzel
  • Cheery
  • Mint leaves

Directions

 

  • In a bowl add whipping cream and mint essence. Mix it nicely to get our mint flavored whipping cream. In a separate bowl add premix water and oil. Whisk nicely without any formation of lumps.
  • For this pastry cake we are going to use a square tin. Take a square tin and cover it with Oddy Ecobake. Oddy Ecobake will help in easy demolding of the cake. Pour our cake batter and bake at 180 degrees for 25-30 mins. Demold once cooled and cut the cake into 2 horizontal slices.
  • Place the base layer and soak it with water. Add chocolate ganache on it and spread it evenly. Now add our mint whipping cream and level it nicely. Repeat the same process for the next layer as well. Pour chocolate ganache all over the cake and cover it entirely on top and sides of the cake.
  • Now trim the cake from all the 4 sides and cut it into pastry sizes. Make a star on each pastry by using Noor 11 nozzle. Add cherry and mint leaves for garnishing. Our Choco mint pastry is ready.
