Chocolate Birthday Cake

About the Recipe

Every kid loves chocolate, celebrate this birthday with rich and creamy homemade chocolate cake. Beautifully decorated and with an amazing texture, this recipe is easy to follow and even if you are a beginner you can easily try this, and you don’t need a microwave or any special tool for this, this recipe is made without using eggs.

Ingredients

 

  • 300gm Oreo Biscuits
  • ¾ cup Milk
  • 1 sachet Eno
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 4tbsp Fresh Cream
  • 1 cup chilled whipping cream
  • Chopped Cashews
  • Pink gel Food Colors
  • ¼ Cup chopped chocolate
  • Golden Sugar balls

Directions

 

  • Take 300gm of Oreos, break them and transfer them into a grinding jar. Grind and make fine powder. Add ¾ cup of milk into the bowl, mix it and add 1 sachet of eno, add some milk and mix it properly.
  • Transfer the batter into the cake tin, lined with Oddy Ecobake Baking and Cooking Paper, place the cake tin in a preheated cooker and bake it for 35-40 mins on low flame.
  • Demold the cake and divide it into 3 layers and let it rest.
  • Meanwhile we will make toffee sauce for the decoration, take 6 tbsp of sugar in a pan and cook it for a few mins until it melts completely, add 3 tbsp of butter and 4 tbsp of fresh cream, keep stirring it on low flame for about 3 mins
  • For frosting take a chilled bowl and add 1 cup of chilled whipping cream and beat it using a beater till it gets stiff. Transfer some into a piping bag.
  • Take a layer of cake, soak it with sugar syrup and apply a layer of whipped cream, and a layer of toffee sauce on it. Smoothen it and add another layer, repeat the process for the second and third layer and at the end completely coat the cake with whipped cream and smoothen it.
  • Take 2 tbsp of whipped cream in a bowl and add a few drops of pink gel food color and mix it. Transfer it into two piping bags with 195 number nozzles and 1 M nozzle.
  • Using these piping bags make the rosette on the side and top of the cake. Let it sit for a few mins in the refrigerator.
  • To make tags, you can use any chocolate,also you can melt any chocolate and spread it on the OHP sheet and let it sit for a few mins.
  • After a few mins cut out the shape using a cookie cutter or a bowl, using whipped cream write the message on the tag.
  • You can also add a decoration using a small envelope to deliver a message as shown in the video.
  • In the end, decorate the cake with some golden sugar balls of any size on the side and on the top, as shown in the video and your cake is ready to serve.
