Chocolate Ganache Cake With Cake Premix

Make this chocolate ganache cake with cake premix. Here we are going to use a new cake decoration technique with chocolate ganache. Oddy Ecobake helps in making the chocolate bowl to decorate the cake.

  • Cake premix - 360 gm, Oil - 4 tbsp & Water - 250 ml
  • Chopped dark chocolate - 1 cup + 1/4 cup
  • Milk - 5 tbsp & Butter - 1 tbsp
  • Oddy Ecobake



  • Prepare cake batter by mixing cake premix with oil and water. Transfer the cake batter into a cake mould lined with Oddy Ecobake. Bake the cake for 30 to 35 minutes in an oven at 160 degrees C. Prepare chocolate ganache by melting chocolate, milk, and butter in a pan.
  • Once the cake is baked and cooled, trim the upper part of the cake. Then divide the cake into 3 equal parts. Beat whipping cream in a bowl and beat it until stiff peaks are formed. Place the first cake layer on the cake board, soak it with chocolate sugar syrup, apply whipped cream and chocolate ganache.
  • Now repeat the same process for the second and third layers of the cake. Frost the cake completely with the cream and level it using a cake scrapper and spatula. Make a swirl pattern on the cake using a cake comb or oil brush.
  • Prepare 3 types of brown frosting by mixing different proportions of whipped cream and chocolate ganache. Apply this frosting cream on the sides of the cake as shown. Apply golden paint on the ends of each design. Use Ecobake cooking paper to cover a steel tumbler as shown, using the Ecobake cooking paper.
  • Prepare chocolate melt by melting 1/4 cup of chopped dark chocolate, pouring it over the Ecobake cooking paper and letting it dry. Demould the chocolate bowl made using chocolate melt. Place it at the centre of the cake and decorate it with cream, cookies, and chocolates as shown.
