Ingredients

 

  • ½ cup Curd
  • 1 Cup powdered sugar
  • ⅓ cup oil
  • 1 tsp + ¼ tsp vanilla essence
  • ¼ cup Milk
  • 1.5 cup All purpose flour
  • ¼ cup milk powder
  • 1tsp +1/4tsp Baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 2/8 tsp salt
  • ⅕ cup chilled whipping cream
  • 2-3 drops Pink gel food color
  • 1-2 drop sky blue gel food color
  • Sugar Pearls

Directions

 

  • For batter, take a mixing bowl and add ½ cup of curd, 1 cup powdered sugar, ⅓ cup of oil, 1+¼ tsp of vanilla essence and add ¼ cup of milk and mix them well.
  • Take a sieve and strain 1+½ cup of all purpose flour, ¼ cup of milk powder, 1+¼ tsp of baking powder, ½ tsp baking soda, and ⅛ tsp of salt, in the bowl. Mix all the ingredients properly to make a smooth and lump free batter.
  • Transfer the batter into the cooker lined with Oddy Ecobnake baking and cooking paper, and bake it on a pre-heated heavy pan on low flame for 40-45 mins, as shown in the video.
  • Demold the cake and divide it into three layers.
  • For frosting, take a chilled mixing bowl and add 1.5 cup of chilled whipping cream and beat it using a beater.
  • Place the bottom layer of cake on the cake board, moist it with sugar syrup, apply a layer of whipped cream, smooth it using a spatula and place a second layer on it, repeat the process for remaining layers. Crumb coat the sides and smoothen the surface using a cake scraper.
