Crispy Chana Dal

Today we’re going to learn the crispy chana dal recipe that is as delicious as crispy chana dal vada. This fried chana dal is easy to make with a few ingredients. The Oddy Ecobake Paper Snack Bag is used to store the crispy chana dal to keep it fresh.

  • Chana dal & Soda - a pinch
  • Salt, red chilli powder & Amchoor powder
  • Oil for frying & Oddy Ecobake Paper Snack Bag



  • Soak chana dal in water for 3 to 4 hours with a pinch of soda. Strain the water and dry the chana dal with a cloth as shown.
  • Fry them in batches in hot oil. Transfer the fried chana dal to a plate and add the fried groundnut to it.
  • Add red chilli powder, salt, and amchoor powder to them and mix well. Your crispy chana dal is ready.
  • Store and pack the crispy chana dal in an Oddy Ecobake Paper Snack Bag to keep it fresh.
