Dark Red Velvet Cake

Dark Red Velvet cake is always relished by one and all. This red velvet cake will melt in the mouth and will not taste bitter because of the use of color. Try this delicious yet simple cake recipe. To prevent cakes from getting burned or sticking to bae, use Oddy Ecobake non-stick liners for uniform baking. It is greaseproof, safe, and easy to use.

Ingredients

 

  • 400 gm Premix, 1 tsp cocoa powder, 200 ml water
  • 1/2 tsp red color, 2-3 drops red emulsion, 3 tbsp oil
  • few chocochips, heart shaped mould, 2 cups white chocolate
  • Red powder food color, strawberry essence, strawberry compote
  • Shimmer, vaporiser, golden leaves, N46 nozzle

Directions

 

  • Mix premix and cocoa powder. Then add water, red color, red emulsion and oil. Mix all the ingredients well till a smooth batter is formed.
  • Add chocochips and mix again. Line the baking tin with Oddy Ecobake non-stick Baking paper for baking. Bake it at 180 degree for 30-35 mins. Allow it to cool.
  • Make heart by pouring melted white chocolate in heart moulds. Let it freeze for 10-15 mins, and demould gently. Make filling with white chocolate ganache, whipping cream and strawberry essence. Mix it well.
  • Cut the cake into two layers. Place one layer soak it and with a pipping bag pour the filing. Spread it evenly with a pallatte. Make a circle or border with same filing and in centre add strawberry compote.
  • Place the last layer and crump coat it well with cream. Even the sides with flat scrapper. With triangle scrapper, make a circle pattern.
  • In a pump spray, add red powder food color and along with vaporiser. Spray this on the cake evenly. Place the heart moulds on top. Spary the color on hearts also.
  • Do the base of the cake with white cream with N46 nozzle. Spray shimmer, and golden leaves and a flower. Red velvet cake is ready.
