Chocolate Truffle Pastry in a Katori

Try making this delicious eggless chocolate truffle pastry in a katori or cup without using an oven. This can be done in less time without any hassle. Oddy Ecobake helps to bake the cake sponge without sticking to the katori or cup.

Ingredients

 

  • Sugar – ¼ cup & Fresh curd – ¼ cup
  • Oil – 2 tbsp & Maida – ½ cup
  • Baking powder – ¼ tsp & Baking soda – ¼ tsp
  • Cocoa powder – 1 tbsp & Milk chocolate – ½ cup
  • Hot milk – 1 tbsp & Sprinkles & Cherries
  • Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Mix the wet ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Add the dry ingredients to the same bowl through a sieve. Mix them well to prepare the cake batter. Transfer the batter into katoris lined with Oddy Ecobake.
  • Bake the cake sponges by placing the katoris in a pressure cooker with a wire stand in it for 15 minutes. Once the cake sponges are baked and cooled, divide each of them into two halves. Prepare chocolate ganache by melting milk chocolate with hot milk.
  • Apply chocolate ganache to half of the cake sponge and paste another half on top. Apply chocolate ganache to the entire sponge and spread evenly. Make drips at the sides of the cake with melted ganache. Garnish the cake with sprinkles and cherries as shown.
