Delicious And Pretty Red Velvet Cake

About the Recipe

The red velvet cake is made when you add a few drops of red gel color to your vanilla cake mix. It is so attractive, vibrant in color, and delicious in taste. This is an eggless cake baked on the stove with cocoa powder, vinegar, and buttermilk. It is decorated with cheese and cream frosting. Ingredients

 

  • Powdered sugar-1/2 cup+2 tbsp + 3 tbsp
  • Curd-1/3 cup & Oil-1/4 cup & Vanilla essence-1 tsp
  • Milk-6 tbsp & All-purpose flour-1 cup & Milk powder-1/4 cup
  • Cocoa powder-1 tsp & Baking powder-1 tsp &
  • Baking soda-1/4 tsp+ 2 pinches & Vinegar-3 tbsp & Milk-2 tsp
  • Chilled whipping cream-1 cup & Gold sugar balls
  • Chilled whipping cream-1 cup & Golden sugar balls
  • Closed star-shaped nozzle & Leaf nozzle
  • Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Take powdered sugar and curd in a mixing bowl and whisk well. Now add the wet ingredients to it and mix well. Then add the sifted dry ingredients to it and mix well until no lumps are found. Add a few drops of red gel food coloring to it and mix well to form a smooth batter.
  • Line a 6-inch baking pan with Oddy Ecobake. Transfer the batter into it, spread it out, and tap it well. Cover and preheat a vessel for 10 minutes. Place the baking pan in it, cover, and bake for 40–45 minutes.
  • Check with a toothpick—a clean toothpick means a perfectly baked cake. Remove it from the vessel, let it cool, and unmold. The cake sponge is ready.
  • Boil milk in a pan and add a few drops of vinegar. Drain the whey water and take the paneer from it. Grind it along with a pinch of salt to a smooth paste; mix powdered sugar into it. The cream cheese is ready; keep it in the fridge.
  • Beat cold whipping cream in a bowl until fluffy. Mix cream cheese into it and beat well to make cream cheese frosting.
  • Divide the cake into three layers. Apply cream to the cake board, place a layer of cake, soak with sugar syrup, and apply cream cheese frosting.
  • Repeat the process for other layers, too. Frost the cake with cream cheese frosting and smooth the sides using a card. Clean the cake board and refrigerate it for some time.
  • Make cake crumbs from a layer of cake sponge. Mark a heart cutout on the cake as shown and decorate with cake crumbs as shown. Fill cheese cream in a piping bag and decorate with a closed star-shaped nozzle as shown.
  • Decorate with cake crumbs on top and sides and a leaf nozzle filled with cream as shown. Garnish with golden sugar balls. The yummy and attractive red velvet cake is ready.
