Doraemon Cake Without Mould

About the Recipe

Today we are going to learn how to make a 3D Doraemon cake without any moulds or special tools. Children will like this cake most. Oddy Ecobake helps to get the perfect cake shape without any greasing and no need for cleaning afterward.

Ingredients

 

  • Chocolate cake premix - 350 gm & Oil - 1/4 cup
  • Water - 1 cup (almost) & Sugar syrup
  • Whipped cream - 2 cups & Chocolate ganache
  • Blue and Red liquid food gel & Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Mix the chocolate cake premix with oil and water to prepare the cake batter. Transfer the cake batter into a cake mould lined with Oddy Ecobake. Bake the cake for 40 to 45 minutes in a preheated kadai over low flame.
  • Once the cake is baked and cooled, trim the top of the cake. Then divide the cake into three equal parts. Beat the whipping cream in a bowl and beat it until stiff peaks are formed.
  • Place the first cake layer on the cake board, soak it with sugar syrup, and apply pineapple crush. Spread it uniformly with a spatula. Now repeat the same process for the second and third layers of the cake.
  • Frost the cake completely with the cream and level it using a card and spatula. Mark the facial features of Doraemon on the cake using a toothpick. Highlight it with chocolate ganache using a piping bag.
  • Prepare blue cream by mixing sky-blue food gel with whipped cream. Fill the outer area of the Doraemon cake with the blue cream, and fill a few parts of the Doraemon image with red cream, as shown.
  • Use a closed, star-shaped nozzle to fill the outer area and the facial features of the Doraemon image. Make a shell border at the bottom of the cake using blue cream and a star nozzle. Your Doraemon cake is ready!
