Easy And Crispy Sabudana Vada

Today, we are gointg to make a typical deep-fried snack from Maharashtra called sabudana vada. It tastes best when eaten fresh and is frequently paired with hot green chutney. Ingredients

 

  • 2 Cups Sabudana
  • 2 Big potatoes
  • 1/4th Cup Peanuts
  • Green chillies - 3
  • Red chilli powder - 1
  • Salt as per taste
  • Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp

Directions

 

  • Soak 2 cups of sabudana in water for 1 to 2 hours. Boil two big potatoes or 4 medium sized potatoes. Mash the potatoes and mix with soaked sabudana.
  • Add 1/4th cup of raw and coarsely grinded peanuts to this mixture. Add green chillies, 1 tbsp red chilli powder, cumin seeds and salt and mix well.
  • Make round shaped balls from the prepared dough. Take brown Ecobake cooking paper and flatten the balls using it. Fry the Sabudana vadas in hot oil and serve them in a plate.
