Moong Dal Bhaji

About the Recipe

Moong Dal Pakoda, also known as Moong Dal Bhaji is scrumptious snack. These are basically made with yellow moong lentils and some spices, that are fried till nicely golden. Pack and store in Oddy Ecobake paper and keep it for longer intervals.

Ingredients

 

  • A large bowl of moong dal
  • A spoonful of crushed coriander.
  • Half a teaspoon of finely chopped coriander
  • Sliced ​​green chillies as desired
  • Salt to taste
  • One spoon of coriander powder
  • A teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • Half teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 Medium-size onion
  • Oil for frying
  • Add green chillies to eat with bhaji

Directions

 

  • Take a large bowl of moong dal soaked in water and grind it into a smooth paste. Beat it well using your hands or a whisk for 3-4 minutes until its colour changes to whitish.
  • Add salt, coriander powder, turmeric powder and red chilly powder. Then put in some sliced ​​green chillies as desired. Mix all of this well.
  • In this mixture, add crushed coriander, raw cumin seeds and fresh coriander leaves as needed. Now mix all of this well to make moong dal bhajias.
  • In a kadhai, take some oil for deep frying moong dal bhajis. Meanwhile, line your plate or dish with Oddy Ecobake cooking and baking paper and transfer bhajias into it.
  • Your delicious moong dal bhajias are ready to serve with hot tea!
