Ingredients

  • Oddy Ecobake
  • Chocolate premix 3/4th cup
  • Water ½ cup
  • Chocolate truffle
  • Roses
  • Golden dust
  • Evaporex
  • Noor 46 Nozzle

Directions

  • Line a 5-inch baking tin with Oddy Ecobake. Oddy Ecobake helps in easy demolding of the cake. In a bowl add chocolate premix and water, whisk well to form a smooth cake batter.
  • Pour the cake batter in baking tin and tap the tin to remove any air bubbles. Preheat the oven for 10 mins and bake the cake at 180 degrees for 20 mins. Remove the cake once done and demold after it is completely cooled down.
  • Cut the cake sponge into two layers. For assembling the cake, take a cake board and place one sponge layer, soak the cake with water. Apply chocolate truffle on top of the layer as shown. With the help of spatula, give a nice finishing to the truffle layer.
  • Make sure to dip the spatula in hot water before giving finishing to the cake, this will ensure we get a smooth and polished finishing. Add second layer of sponge and soak with wate. Now cover the entire cake with truffle.
  • With the spatula start giving finishing to the cake. Give zig-zag designs with card on the sides of the cake. Keep the cake in refrigerator for 10 mins to set. Add roses on the top of the cake. Make sure the stem is covered with foil or cling film.
  • Mix golden dust and evaporex. Make drop effects from it on the cake as shown. With Noor 46 nozzle make shell designs on the border of the cake. Our Easy Truffle Cake design is ready.
