Orange Truffle Cake

About the Recipe

A delightful orange butter cake drizzled with chocolate ganache. This simple and beautiful cake is sure to be a crowd favourite. This is an easy to make, one bowl, homemade chocolate cake, filled with simple chocolate orange whipped truffle filling and covered in an orange chocolate glaze. Use Oddy Ecobake to demold the cake easily. Oddy Ecobake is non-sticky and grease-proof, perfect for baking and cooking.

Ingredients

 

  • Oddy Ecobake
  • For Ganache: Orange Compound Chocolate - 75gms
  • Amul Fresh cream - 1/4th cup
  • For Cake: Oreo Biscuits - 300gms
  • Milk - 3/4cup
  • Eno - 1/2tsp

Directions

 

  • In a bowl add orange chocolate compound and fresh cream. Melt the chocolate with the double boiler method. Once the chocolate melts remove from heat.
  • Line the baking tin with Oddy Ecobake. Oddy Ecobake is grease-proof and eco-friendly, perfect for baking and cooking.
  • In a mixer add oreo biscuits and grind it into a fine powder. Transfer the biscuit powder in a bowl. Gradually add milk in it and mix well. Add eno and mix well. Our cake batter is ready.
  • Pour the cake batter in our baking tin. Add few pieces of oreo biscuit on top. Sprinkle some orange choco chips. Pre-heat the kadai for 5-10 mins. Bake the cake for 30-35 mins in low flame.
  • Once baked, let the cake cool down completely and demold it. Pour the ganache in a piping bag and garnish the cake with ganache. Refrigerate the cake for 10-15 mins. Remove after the cake is set. Cut and serve. Our Orange Truffle cake is ready.
