Eggless Dark Chocolate Cake Decoration

About the Recipe

Make this spongy and delicious dark chocolate cake for your special occasions. This cake is a treat for chocolate lovers. The cake is decorated with chocolate bars, biscuits, and wafers. The cake is perfectly baked and demoulded when Oddy Ecobake is used to line the baking pan. Oddy Ecobake is safe to use, healthy, and non-toxic.

Ingredients

 

  • Vegetable Oil - 1/4 Cup (60 ml) & Curd - 1/4 Cup (50 gm)
  • Sugar - 1/2 Cup (70 gm) & Milk - 1/2 Cup (120 ml)
  • Vanilla Essence- 1 Tsp & Whole Wheat Flour- 1 Cup (130 gm)
  • Dark Cocoa Powder - 3 Tbsp (20 gm) & Baking Powder- 1 Tsp
  • Baking Soda - 1/2 Tsp & Pinch of Salt
  • Chilled Whipping Cream - 200 gm & Melted Dark Chocolate - 100 gm
  • Sugar syrup: sugar + warm water & Dark Choco chips
  • Chocolate biscuits, wafers, chocolate bars
  • Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Mix together oil, sugar, and curd in a mixing bowl. Now add vanilla essence and milk to it and whisk well. Then add the sifted dry ingredients to it and mix well using the cut-and-fold method.
  • The cake batter is ready. Line a baking pan with Oddy Ecobake. Transfer the batter into it, spread well, and tap. Cover and bake the cake on a preheated kadhai for 40 minutes on a low flame.
  • Check with a toothpick—a clean toothpick means a perfectly baked cake. Let it cool completely, then unmould and remove Oddy Ecobake.
  • Beat chilled whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Then add melted dark chocolate to it and beat again, and the cream is ready. Divide the cake into three layers.
  • Spread whipping cream and place a layer of cake on the cake board, soak with sugar syrup, and spread cream and chocolate chips. Repeat the process for other layers, too.
  • Frost the cake with cream and spread it evenly using a spatula. Make chocolate drips by melting dark chocolate with oil using the double boiler method.
  • Drip it on the sides and top; spread it. Decorate with cupcakes, biscuits, chocolate wafers, and chocolate bars of your choice. Refrigerate for 2 hours. Enjoy chilled.
