Sandesh is a delicious Bengali sweet that is popular in India. It is made for festivals and special occasions, most importantly for Durga Puja during Navarathri. It is made by curdling milk and draining the whey to collect chenna, which is then kneaded to make a smooth texture and then cooked on a low flame with powdered sugar.
