About the Recipe

Make this most delicious double chocolate cake for your special ones and enjoy it with them. The cake is made with flour, sugar, and buttermilk. The buttermilk keeps the cake moist and light. By lining your baking pan with Oddy Ecobake, which is non-stick and suitable for use in an oven or on the stove, you can bake the cake rich and moist.

Ingredients

  • Melted butter-1/4 cup & Powdered sugar -1/2 cup
  • Butter milk-1 cup & All-purpose flour -1 cup
  • Baking powder-1 tsp & Baking soda- 1/2 tsp
  • Cocoa powder -3 tbsp & Whipping cream- 1 cup
  • Melted chocolate & Dark chocolate -100 gm
  • Hot milk & Golden sugar balls
  • Oddy Ecobake

Directions

  • Mix together butter and powdered sugar in a bowl, whisk well. Add butter milk into it and mix well.
  • Add the sifted dry ingredients to it and whisk well to make a smooth batter. Line a baking pan with Oddy Ecobake. Pour the batter into it, spread and tap well.
  • Cover and preheat a kadhai. Cover and bake the cake for 35 minutes on a low flame.
  • Take whipping cream in a bowl and beat until fluffy. Add melted dark chocolate to it and beat well. The chocolate frosting is ready. Demould and remove Oddy Ecobake from the cake.
  • Divide the cake into three layers. Apply chocolate frosting to the cake board, place a layer of cake on the board, soak with sugar syrup, and apply chocolate frosting on it and spread uniformly.
  • Repeat the process for other layers, too. Frost the cake with chocolate frosting and spread it uniformly, covering all sides. Make a pattern using a cake comb.
  • Add hot milk to the chopped dark chocolate to make ganache. Pour it on top of the cake and spread using a spatula.
  • Decorate with chocolate cream and golden sugar balls. The double chocolate can be cut into slices and relished.
