Fluffy Rava Strawberry Cake

Soft and fluffy Rava Strawberry Cake is best this winter season. It is the season of strawberries. Try this recipe for kids. No use of egg or maida. Before baking, don’t forget to line the cake in with Oddy Ecobake Non-stick Liners. It prevents the cake from sticking to the base. It is healthy, safe, and reusable.

Ingredients

 

  • semolina- 1 cup-150 gms
  • powdered sugar-1 cup-150 gms
  • curd-1 big cup- 200 gms
  • butter or ghee- 2 tbsp -50 gms
  • 2 tbsp wheat flour, fresh strawberries
  • 2 tbsp strawberry crush for cake, 2 sp for dressing
  • 1 sp baking powder, 1/2 sp baking soda
  • 1/4 small cup milk, Oddy Ecobake Non stick liners

Directions

 

  • Cut strawberry ino fine slices. In a bowl, take curd, strawberry crush and butter. Mix it well.
  • After a good consistency is formed, add semolina (rava), sugar, and wheat flour. Mix well for smooth cake batter.
  • Allow it to rest for min half hour and max 2 hours. After the required time, add milk and mix again. Next add baking powder and baking soda and mix.
  • Now add the chopped strawberries and mix it gently. Take a cake tin and line it with Oddy Ecobake Non-stick Liners.
  • Pout the batter and tap the tin. Pre-heat pot or khadhai for 10 mins. Place a kitchen stand and put the cake for baking on low flame for 40 to 50 mins.
  • For oven, bake it for 25 mins at 180 degree temperature. To check if cake is ready, use knife or toothpick. Once done, remove it from flame.
  • Loosen the corners and demould the cake. Allow it to cool. Spread strawberry on the top side of the cake and place sliced strawberry pieces. Cake is ready to be served.
