Fondant designer Cake

About the Recipe

Make this super easy designer cake with fondant leaves for decoration. A unique design and also super flavourful. You can add your favourite flavor, I have made pineapple cake. Use Oddy Ecobake for easy demolding of the cake.

Ingredients

 

  • 180 gms premix
  • 1.5 tbsp oil
  • Oddy Ecobake
  • Pineapple flavor 2 drops
  • Yellow color 2 drops
  • Pineapple crush
  • 250 ml chilled whipping cream
  • 1/8th tsp golden dust color
  • Refined oil 2-3 drops
  • Burgundy color 3-4 drops
  • Fondant
  • N1 nozzel

Directions

 

  • In a bowl add premix, oil, pineapple flavor, yellow color and water. Mix well to avoid lumps. In a 5 inch baking tin place Oddy Ecobake and pour the cake batter. Tap to avoid air bubbles.
  • Bake the cake at 180 degrees for 25 mins. Demold the cake once cooled and cut into layers. Add brown gel color in fondant and mix well. Make a flat shape with the help of a roller. With the help of mold make perfect leaf shape.
  • In a small bowl add golden dust color and oil. Mix well and pain on the leaves as shown. Place the cake layer on cake board and apply sugar syrup. Add whipping cream and spread well. Add pineapple crush and spread well.
  • Repeat the same process for the other two layers. Add burgundy color in whipping cream and mix well. Coat the entire cake with burgundy color whipping cream.
  • In a bowl take whipping cream and extra drops of burgundy color to make a darker shade. Add it to piping bag and attach N1 nozzel.
  • Make rossels on the sides of the cake as shown. Make a bigger rosset on the top of the cake. Add sugar balls for decoration. Decorate with golden edible leaf. Spray silver spray on the cake for the final touch. Our cake is ready.
