Full Fondant Saree Design Cake

Make a full fondant 1 kg cake for a birthday, an easy and descriptive recipe covering every single step and lots of tips in between. In this recipe you’ll get to know the easy, simple and quick way to prepare a cake and how to decorate it beautifully, which otherwise might be a complex recipe

Ingredients

 

  • 300gm premix powder
  • Choco whipped cream
  • White, yellow, Red and Blue color fondant
  • Lace
  • Silver and golden dust
  • alcohol (vodka is recommended) or an alcohol-based extract like lemon extract.

Directions

 

  • Make a 8 inch chocolate cake sponge using 300gm premix powder and oddy ecobake baking and cooking paper.
  • Cut the sponge in two parts and apply Choco whipped cream on both the pieces as shown in the video, Crumb Coat the cakes completely, and smoothen it using a scrapper or card.
  • Now take the fondant and stretch it properly, remove the air bubble by using a bamboo stick as shown in the video.
  • Apply the Fondant on the cake and stretch it properly over the cake and cut the remaining fondant out.
  • Now make doll and sarees by using different different color fondants and make designs of silver and golden dust as shown in the video.
  • Apply more white color fondant around the bottom of the cake.
  • Now apply lace around the cake by using water and decorate it with sarees and cake as shown in the video now your cake is ready.
