Gobi Paratha

About the Recipe

Gobi paratha is a wheat flatbread stuffed with spiced stuffing made from grated cauliflower. This is a must-try North Indian recipe that can be served along with curd and pickle. It can be packed in Oddy Uniwraps for fresh and tasty parathas for lunch.

Ingredients

 

  • Wheat flour/atta- 2-3 cup & Salt-1.5 tsp+1/2 tsp
  • Water, Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp & Red chilli powder-1/4 tsp
  • Green chillies-1 tbsp & Coriander leaves
  • Ajwain/carom seeds- 1 tsp &bCumin-1/2 tsp
  • Roasted Cumin powder-1/2 tsp & Garam masala-1/2 tsp

Directions

 

  • Take the atta in a bowl, add salt to it, mix with enough water, and knead well. Rest for 10 minutes. Take cauliflower florets and blanch them in boiling water.
  • Drain the water and grate the florets in a food processor or by hand. Squeeze excess water from grated cauliflower, as shown. You can use this water for kneading the dough.
  • Now add spice powders, cumin, carom seeds, and chopped coriander leaves to it and mix well. Then add salt and mix well. Roll small balls of dough flat, stuff with stuffing, and fold as shown.
  • Roll flat once more. Cook the parathas on medium heat, applying ghee. Pack it in Oddy Uniwraps for fresh parathas for your lunch box.
