The sandwich is made from bread, a spread, and a filling. The veg grilled sandwich is a famous street food recipe liked by everyone, from adults to children. This recipe shows how to make a veg-grilled sandwich. This is an excellent breakfast recipe that can also be packed as a child’s lunch. The Oddy Ecobake is used in the recipe to make a non-greasy and crispy sandwich.

Ingredients

 

  • Grated cabbage/lettuce- 2 cups & Grated Carrot-1 cup
  • Grated Onions-1/2 cup & Chopped Capsicum-1/2
  • Mayonnaise- 2 tbsp (can use hung curd for healthy option)
  • Salt-1 tsp & Black pepper powder-1 /2 tsp
  • 1/4 cup Curd (plain yogurt)
  • Sugar-1/2 tsp, Butter- as required & Green chutney

Directions

 

  • Add all the grated vegetables, mayonnaise, salt, pepper powder, and sugar to a bowl and mix everything well.
  • The veg filling is ready. Apply butter to a slice of bread and green chutney to another slice of bread. Spread the veg filling on it.
  • Cover both the slices as shown. Repeat the same for all the slices of bread and keep them aside. Preheat the grill. Line the griller with Oddy Ecobake paper.
  • Grease butter on both sides of the bread and grill as shown. Cut as shown. The grilled veg sandwiches are ready. Serve for breakfast or pack as a lunch for kids.
