Green Gravy Premix

About the Recipe

Cooking restaurant-style gravy and curry is now possible at home. This Green Gravy Premix will make the gravy rich in thickness. You can store this in the refrigerator for at least 4-5 months. To store for a longer time, use Oddy Uniwraps. It locks moisture and keeps foods, powders, and leftover food fresh.

Ingredients

 

  • Cashew- 6-7 & Melon seeds- 1 & 1/2 tbsp
  • Cloves- 3 & Black pepper- 6
  • Green cardamom- 3 & Bay leaf- 2
  • Dry Ginger- 1/4 inch & Onion powder- 2 tbsp
  • Garlic powder- 1 tsp & Green chilli powder- 3 tsp
  • Garam masala- 1/4 tsp & Kitchen king masala- 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander powder- 1 tbsp & Turmeric- 1/4 tsp
  • Milk powder- 2 & 1/2 tbsp & Corn flour- 1 tsp
  • Salt- 1 & 1/4 tsp
  • Oil- 1 & 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin- 1 tsp & Dried Garlic flakes- 2 tsp
  • Asafoetida- 1/8 tsp & Kasuri methi- 1 tsp

Directions

 

  • Take a pan. Dry roast cashew, sesame and melon seeds, poppy seeds. Keep aside.
  • Dry roast cloves, black pepper, green cardamom, bay leaf. Keep aside.
  • Take a mixture jar. Add all the roasted ingredients to it. And make a fine powder.
  • Add all the remaining ingredients into same mixture jar. And grind all the ingredients together into fine powder.
  • Premix will be ready. Store in an airtight container lined with Oddy Uniwraps.
  • Take a pan. Add oil into pan. Heat the oil and then add cumins into it. After that add dried garlic flakes. Fry them together for 1-2 minutes at low flame.
  • Add asafoetida into it and roast for 5-6 seconds. Add above powder into pan. Add kasuri methi. And roast it at low to medium flame for 4-5 min.
  • Green gravy premix will be ready to use.
