About the Recipe

This recipe shows how to make honey-chili potatoes, a fusion of Indian and Chinese cooking. The honey-chili potato is made with fried potato fingers and coated with sauces and honey. This is a quick snack recipe that is most liked by children. The Oddy Ecobake non-stick liner 9″ is used in the recipe to make oil-free and crunchy air-fried French fries.

Ingredients

 

  • Store bought French fries mix-1/2 packet
  • Olive oil-2 tsp, Ginger, Garlic & Green chilies
  • Sliced onions-1/2 cup, Capsicum-1 cup & Honey-1 tbsp
  • Vinegar- 1 tsp, Sesame seeds- 1 tsp & Spring onions
  • 1/4 cup Curd (plain yogurt)
  • Red chilli sauce-1 tbsp & Soya sauce- 1 tbsp
  • 1 Tbsp corn flour+ ½ cup water for corn slurry
  • Tomato ketchup- 1 tbsp & Oddy Ecobake Perforated Liner 9"

Directions

 

  • Line the preheated air fryer basket with Oddy Ecobake Perforated liner 9" . Transfer the French fry mix and air fry for 25 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius.
  • The crispy French fries are ready. Heat oil in a pan. Add the chopped garlic, ginger, and green chilies, and stir. Stir in the onions and capsicum.
  • Now add all the sauces, vinegar, honey, and corn flour slurry; stir well. Add salt to it. Add the air-fried French fries to it and stir well.
  • Sprinkle sesame seeds and garnish with spring onions. The tasty and kid-favorite honey-chili potato is ready to be served hot.
