Indian Style Cheese Cake

Do you know that hung curd and biscuits may be used to make cheese cake? This recipe illustrates how to prepare cheese cake using hung curd and ground biscuit powder, both of which have numerous health advantages. This recipe is easy to make and has great flavor. When you bake the cake in a pan with Oddy Ecobake Cooking Paper Circles, it becomes non-stick and beneficial to health. Ingredients

 

  • Unsalted biscuits- 25 to 30 no’s & Soft butter- nearly ½ cup
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder- 3 tsp & Hung curd-1 kg
  • Condensed milk- 1 cup & Vanilla essence- ½ tsp
  • Cream- ½ cup & Corn flour or custard powder-1 tbsp
  • Aluminum foil & Chopped pistachio, cashew, almonds & Rose petals
  • Oddy Ecobake Cooking Paper Circles

Directions

 

  • Crush the biscuits into a coarse powder. Transfer it to a bowl and mix it with soft butter. Add cocoa powder and mix well. Take hung curd that was hung for 6 to 8 hours.
  • Take 2 cups of hung curd in a bowl, then add condensed milk, vanilla essence, cream, and custard powder to it. Mix well without any lumps until smooth.
  • Line a baking pan with Oddy Ecobake Cooking Paper Circles. Shift the biscuit mixture, smooth it, and tap.
  • Then add the hung curd mixture and spread well leaving some space in the top. Seal the pan with aluminum foil. Cover and cook in a pan with water for 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Let it cool completely. Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours and set. Demould it and set it on a plate with a biscuit layer in the bottom.
  • Garnish with chopped pistachios, almonds, cashews, and rose petals. The yummy Indian-style cheese cake is ready to be cut into slices.
