Instant Butter Chakli

Ingredients

 

  • 1 cup Rice flour
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp Onion seeds
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp butter butter
  • Oil for frying

Directions

 

  • In a flat plate, take 2 cups rice flour, Take one cup water. Give it a light boil, add salt and one tsp butter.
  • When the water comes to boil, add the rice flour and keep on mixing continuously till the rice powder doesn't com to a soft dough-like consistency.
  • Put off the flame, cover the vessel and let it steam for 10 mins. Atfer 10 mins remove the rice dough like mixture, kneed it while its hot and war.
  • Add onion seeds and jeera and kneed well. Lastly add the remaining butter (1/2 tsp) and mix nicely. Divide the dough into two parts. Cover the second one.
  • Then cut off a sheet of Oddy Ecobake for making chakli. Next put the dough into the chakli maker machine, cover it and press it to roll out butter chakli's.
  • Heat up the oil, and fry the chaklis in a khadhai. Fry on medium flame. First fry on single side then stirr and turn the other side. Once the oil turns cold means the chakli is done, drain the oil and remove off flame.
