Kalakand Recipe with Just Two Ingredients

Kalakand is a traditional sweet recipe made during festivals. Here we are going to show you how to make kalakand with just two ingredients. Oddy Ecobake helps to set the perfect shape for your sweet without greasing the tray with oil or ghee.

Ingredients

 

  • Milk - 1 L + 500 ml
  • Vinegar - 1 tsp
  • Jaggery - 1/4 cup
  • Elaichi powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Oddy Ecobake

Directions

 

  • Heat milk in a pan and add vinegar once it comes to a boil. Stir well until the milk curdles. Put the curdled milk or paneer in a muslin cloth by placing it on a strainer. Remove the excess water and collect the paneer.
  • Transfer the paneer to a plate and crumble it gently. Heat milk in a pan and boil it until it reduces to a third of its quantity. Once the milk is reduced in quantity, add the jaggery to it and mix well.
  • Add paneer to the milk-jaggery mixture and cook everything together until the milk dries up. Add kheer seeds and transfer the sweet into a pan or tray lined with Oddy Ecobake.
  • Spread and press well and let it set well, or till it comes to room temperature. Add kheera seeds to the top of the kalakand, cut and enjoy.
