Kesar Burfi Without Milk or Milk Powder

We’re going to make Kesar burfi at home using only a few simple ingredients. There is no need to use condensed milk or milk powder to make this dessert. Oddy Ecobake helps set the burfi without greasing the mold, and there is no need for additional cleanup.

Ingredients

 

  • 1/4 Cup ghee & 3/4 Cup all purpose flour
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar & 1/2 Cup water
  • Kesar water, Silver Vark & Oddy Ecobake
  • Chopped pistachio and almonds

Directions

 

  • Heat the ghee in a pan, add maida to it, and roast it until it becomes golden brown.
  • Prepare sugar syrup in a pan with a sticky consistency.
  • Add this sugar syrup to the maida and ghee mixture and mix well.
  • Once the mixture starts leaving the pan, add saffron strands to it and mix well.
  • Switch off the stove. Line a mold with Oddy Ecobake and sprinkle a few chopped nuts over it.
  • Transfer the mixture to the mould and spread well. Let it rest for a while.
  • Apply silver vark to the burfi and cut the burfi into small pieces. Enjoy!
