Make restaurant style onion, tomato, garlic and green chilly powder at home. You can use these powders to make restaurant style gravies. Just remember to follow a few things so that the powder becomes perfect and you can store it for many days in an air tight container. Ingredients

 

  • Oddy Ecobake
  • Oddy Uniwraps
  • Onion thinly sliced 1 kg
  • Ripe Tomato deseeded and sliced 1 kg
  • Chillies finely chopped 100 gms
  • Garlic thinly sliced 100 gms

Directions

 

  • Take 1 kg onion sliced in a big dish and keep them under the sun for drying. You have to make sure that all the moisture from the onion is gone to make the powder last longer. For this use Oddy Ecobake to line the dish, this will absorb all the water from the onions and helps it to dry faster.
  • Similarly take 1 kg tomato deseeded and sliced. Make sure to separate its juice from the tomato. Keep the tomatoes for drying. Slice garlic thinly and keep them for drying. Make sure all the moisture is gone from it.
  • Take green chillies and cut them very finely and keep them for drying. Make sure the onion, tomato, garlic and green chillies are kept under the sun for drying for 2-3 days.
  • Grind onion, tomato, garlic and green chillies separately. Keep Oddy Uniwraps on slab and sieve these powders one by one.
  • Our restaurant style powders are ready. To store this for many days. Pack each powder in an air tight container lined with Oddy Uniwraps. Oddy Uniwraps will help keep the powder fresh for longer days.
