Make This Special Rava Burfi For Your Varalakshmi Vrata

Today we have shown how to make a special rava burfi using chiroti rava. This delightful sweet recipe can be done in less time with less ingredients. Ecobake non-stick liners helps in getting perfect shape without any greasing and no need for cleaning afterwards.

Ingredients

 

  • 1.5 cup chiroti rava
  • 1.5 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup ghee
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • almonds
  • pistachios
  • elaichi/cardamom powder
  • 2tbsp khova or cream or milk powder (optional)

Directions

 

  • Add butter to a non-stick pan and add rava to the pan as it gets heated. Saute and mix the rava with ghee without any lumps.  
  • Add sugar in another pan and add water to it. Add kova to the same pan and let it boil. Transfer the rava to the pan as soon as the sugar dissolves and forms a thread consistency. 
  • Add Elaichi powder and saffron strands to the rava mixture for good flavour. Transfer this to a plate lined with Oddy Ecobake non-stick liners.
  • Garnish it with chopped almonds and pistachios. Once the burfi cools down and hardens, remove the Oddy non-stick liner and cut into cubes. Serve them and enjoy.
