Methi Bhakri is a flatbread from Gujarat. This crunchy flatbread, made with wheat flour and kasuri methi, is a great teatime companion. Oddy uniwraps can help you preserve and pack methi bhakri to keep it fresh for a long time.

Ingredients

 

  • 1 Cup Coarse Wheat Flour & 1/4 Cup Chickpea Flour/Besan
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder & 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • Salt as per taste & 1/4 tsp Asafoetida/Hing 2 tsp
  • Sesame Seeds 1/2 tsp & Coarsely Ground Cumin Seeds
  • 3 tbsp or as Oil, 2 tsp Curd & Oddy Uniwraps
  • 1 tbsp Dry Fenugreek Leaves/Kasuri Methi
  • Water as required Water & 2 tsp or as required Ghee 

Directions

 

  • Mix all the ingredients with water to prepare a dough. Let it rest for some time.
  • Divide the dough into four portions. Flatten each roundel into medium-flat breads as shown.
  • Cook them on the tawa until both sides are properly cooked.
  • Your methi bhakri is ready. You can store them in Oddy Uniwraps to keep them fresh.
